After logging over 200 miles, I break down the features I love, as well as the ones I’d like to see on future models. Spoiler alert: After testing this model, I might be second guessing my last UTV purchase.

The 2025 Can-Am Defender Limited is built for performance, comfort and versatility, boasting an 82-horsepower Rotax gasoline engine, a quiet, fully enclosed cab with HVAC and a large cargo box.
Additional specs and features include:
- 2,500-pound towing capacity
- 1,000-pound cargo box with gas-shock assist
- 4,500-pound winch
- 2-inch hitch receiver
- Three driving modes: Normal, ECO and Work
- Standard power windows, tilt-up windshield and a windshield wiper and washer kit
- Comfortable seats, dome light and plenty of in-cab storage
- Heat and air conditioning
