In addition to its all-new ET40 mini excavator, Wacker Neuson debuted three new models of compact articulated wheel loaders at ConExpo 2026: the WL750, WL950 and WL1150.
In the video above, Equipment World editors got up closer and personal with the two models present at Wacker Neuson's ConExpo 2026 booth: the WL750 and WL1150.
The loaders' model names are based on their bucket capacity: the WL750 (0.75 cubic meters), WL950 (0.95 cubic meters) and WL1150 (1.15 cubic meters). The lineup ranges in weight from 8,157 to 13,448 pounds.
The new models join the WL250 compact articulated wheel loader Wacker Neuson introduced to the U.S. in 2025 to fill out the company’s full lineup.
All three loaders are built on the same wheel loader platform, allowing Wacker Neuson to standardize components to improve parts availability and simplify maintenance while also providing a uniform operating experience. Each loader’s center joint connects the front and back at two points and hosts wear-resistant hydraulic hoses to reduce abrasion risk.
The loaders feature a transverse mounted engine for 56.3 horsepower on the WL750 and WL950 and 74.3 horsepower on the WL1150. The engine compartment layout has been updated for easier access during daily maintenance and to draw air across the engine for cooling.
In the pressurized cab, operators will find wider access points for easier entering and exiting, an ergonomically designed interior and control layout, and panoramic-view front and rear windshields. The WL series provides a telescopic tilt steering wheel and rubberized keypads to control the loader, auxiliaries, ride control and drive modes.

A compact wheel is a great solution for North American contractor. They're fast. They're more comfortable than a skid steer loader. They've got the same kind of versatility as a skid steer loader. It's just a different way to solve a problem.

My name is John Dotto. I'm with Wacker Noise and I'm a product application training specialist. It is connected 2026. In fact, it's day one 2026 and we are looking at a few new wielders from Wacker Noise. And behind me I've got the W.L. 1150. And then there's a few more in the booth we'll swing across to those. The cab on the 1150 is a totally redesigned concept with the operator in mind.
00:00:42:29 - 00:01:07:09
John Dotto
So you can see, as I got in a really wide entrance with a big wide door on it to make getting in and out of the machine very easy. Switch layout is very intuitive for operators. You've got your tilt steering wheel which is telescopic. Also all your controls for your loader and your auxiliaries, ride control and a couple of different drive modes are available right here on the rubberized keypads.
00:01:07:09 - 00:01:36:18
John Dotto
And then from the cab. Really, the operators really care about visibility and comfort and having a nice, quiet, clean cab. So we've got good pressurization inside this cab. And then one of the things that we did was we took the main valve from underneath the operator's platform here, and we moved it to the front chassis. I'll show you where it lives now, but we've removed that source of heat and noise from the cab to really improve the operator's experience as you sit in the nice air ride seat here.
00:01:36:18 - 00:01:57:10
John Dotto
So by reducing noise and heat, we make sure the operator stays comfortable. And how that trickles down to safety is an operator who is comfortable makes better decisions at the end of the day, because you're not irritated, you're you're you haven't had this whiny hydraulic noise bothering you all day. So you do tend to make safer decisions the more comfortable you are.
00:01:57:12 - 00:02:22:19
John Dotto
So bonus storage in the cab. You can keep all your contacts, move in tools in there and forget about them and hope nobody steals them during the show. On the service standpoint, at the back of the machine, we've got a new orientation of the engine, which really makes for very nice serviceability. I'm going to have to make a quick adjustment here on the door.
00:02:22:19 - 00:02:54:00
John Dotto
So this is the two piece door. So you'll notice I've got that split there in the window. So the two piece door allows for just more flexibility which is something that operators are looking for also. But you've got a transverse mounted engine in the W11 50 here. So by turning the engine transverse with your pump set there, all of your daily checks are really easy to access here from the one side of the engine.
00:02:54:00 - 00:03:20:15
John Dotto
So it's just a really clean layout. We're drawn air across the engine compartment here for optimal cooling. It's just a simple design. So a couple of things here at the front of the machine, it's a little difficult to see. And maybe you can catch it in some B-roll. But when I mentioned from the seated position in the cab there, the movement of the main valve, the access panel for the main valve is right here in this front wagon, front chassis on the loader.
00:03:20:15 - 00:03:46:07
John Dotto
Now, by moving that valve again, we reduce heat and noise in the cab. All of our wheel loader products are going to come equipped standard with the. The faster blocks will connect under pressure block like this. For auxiliary applications you've got your 14 panel. This machine in particular has the high performance LED light kit on it. So 2000 watt LEDs makes it a great snow removal machine, makes it a great nighttime light low light machine.
00:03:46:10 - 00:04:12:17
John Dotto
And these smaller wheel loaders all have the universal style skid steer loader quick hitch. So your attachment versatility is right there. We were there looking at the sort of high spec W 1150. We've got a couple other machines in the booth. We do offer the wheel loader products at a couple of different trim levels. So we've got the premium versions, but we are also offering from listening to customers.
00:04:12:17 - 00:04:35:00
John Dotto
Some people are just looking for a down and dirty RoPS machine. So here are the W 750 in the open RoPS configuration, you still get the same great cab ergonomics, you still get the same great big wide entry, but you've now got an open station machine. So a little bit less maintenance there and obviously a lower cost of entry on an open rocks machine.
00:04:35:02 - 00:04:57:16
John Dotto
A couple of different lifting kinematics. That machine that we looked at back there was a Z bar lift. The 750 is a parallel kinematic. Makes it a little better sort of universal lifter. It's got some really nice parallel lifting kinematics, so reduces the amount of adjustment that an operator has to make when they're lifting palatines material or bulk material with a bucket.
