Rumors have heated up that Jeep is set to launch a pickup version of its Wrangler, but the folks at Omix-ADA brought to the 2015 SEMA Show this week a reminder that Jeep, years ago, was already a player in the pickup segment.
The 1955 Willys 4×4 pickup truck in the gallery above, and its 226-cubic-inch Super Hurricane 6-cylinder engine, features a three-speed manual T-90 transmission, Timken 51540 rear axle and Dana 25 front axle.
With a wheelbase of 118 inches, it tips the curb weight scale at 3,200 pounds.
The Jeep FC-150 cabover was produced from 1957 to 1965. This one happens to be from 1959.
The pickup got the same four-cylinder engine as the CJ and a T-90 three-speed manual transmission. At almost 75 inches, it’s a good bit wider than its CJ sister. Its GVWR is about 5,000 pounds.

This J-10 was pretty tricked out in its day with its optional interior, TH400 automatic transmission, 360-cubic-inch V-8 engine (175 hp with 245 ft.-lbs. of torque) and optional brush guard and light bar.
With a wheelbase of nearly 131 inches, it comes with a curb weight of 5,200 pounds.
