A Closer Look: Deere's New Backhoes Deliver Improved Comfort, Visibility, Control

Deere rolled out its redesigned backhoe line in June, retaining core components while introducing a range of enhancements to operator comfort, visibility and control.

The five updated models include the 310 G-Tier and 310, 320, 410 and 710 P-Tier.

Emily Pagura, product marketing manager, gave Equipment World a complete overview of the new models at Deere’s 2025 Construction Field Days event earlier this year in Sacaton, Arizona.

  • A wider cab for improved maneuverability when switching between digging and loading operations.
  • A new, more ergonomic loader grip and relocated switches for easier access.
  • Upgraded HVAC system for more airflow and an optional heated and ventilated seat.
  • Upgraded LED work lights and LED turn signals.
