Yanmar has launched six more compact track loaders with ASV PosiTrack, bringing its total lineup to nine models to replace its ASV-branded CTLs in North America.

Yanmar announced the phaseout of ASV-branded loaders at ConExpo 2026 to an all Yanmar-brand strategy. Yanmar, however, is keeping ASV’s patented PosiTrack rubber undercarriage on the new CTLs and signifying so with machine logos and in its nomenclature.

The six latest models range from 2,000 to 4,100 pounds of rated operating capacity: the TL65RP, TL75VP, TL80VP, TL100VP, TL80VP Forestry and TL100VP Forestry.

They join the TL25RP, TL40RP and TL50RP released in July.

The “P” in the model names stands for PosiTrack. The “R” stands for radial lift, and the “V” represents vertical lift. The numbers denote the models’ approximate horsepower.

The latest launch nearly replaces the entire ASV-branded compact track loader lineup for North America. The only two models left to be replaced are the ASV RT-135 and RT-135 Forestry.

Yanmar purchased ASV in 2019. Since then, it has released Yanmar-branded CTLs with a steel-embedded track system. Those four models — TL65RS-1C, TL75VS-1C, TL80VS-1C and TL100VS — will remain, the company says, giving buyers a choice.

The fully suspended torsion-axle undercarriage is engineered to improve stability, digging performance and material retention when operating on soft, wet, slippery, rough or hilly terrain. The steel-embedded tracks are designed for those planning to operate mostly on hard surfaces or who need additional durability.

The TL80VP, TL100VP and both Forestry models also feature an advanced dual-level suspension that combines independent torsion axles with suspended bogie wheels, Yanmar says.

All the new CTLs are equipped with Yanmar diesel engines and painted Yanmar red.

The loaders are built at Yanmar’s plant in Grand Rapids, Minnesota.

Compact track loaders are the most popular construction equipment category by new financed sales in the U.S. More than 56,000 units were sold from May 2025 to April 2026, according to Fusable’s EDA equipment finance data.

“Compact track loaders are a critical part of Yanmar’s growth strategy in North America,” said Anna Christine Sgro, president, Yanmar Compact Equipment North America. “With these six models joining the three small-frame machines introduced in July, we now offer customers a significantly broader range of CTL solutions — from compact applications through demanding, high-production forestry work.”
