ASV is bringing back their popular Posi-Track line of compact track loaders, starting with the introduction of three new models. The machines are the first to be introduced since parent company Terex sold 51 percent of ASV to Manitex International late last year.

The three new Posi-Track models are the RT-30, RT-60 and RT-110. Manufactured at ASV’s Grand Rapids, Minnesota, facility, the first machines have already rolled off the assembly line.

The 48-inch-wide, 3,600-pound RT-30 is the smallest ride-on CTL available, according to the company. The unit features a 3-cylinder Perkins diesel engine that delivers 32.7 horsepower. The RT-30 produces just 3.0 psi ground pressure, making the machine suitable for work on fragile surfaces, such as in landscaping or turf management applications.

ASV’s mid-size machine, the RT-60, weighs 6,930 pounds and is powered by a 4-cylinder, 60-hp Perkins turbocharged diesel engine. Suitable for a wide range of applications including large landscaping jobs and construction projects, the RT-60 has 15-inch-wide rubber tracks that create just 3.9-psi ground pressure while providing traction and stability.

The largest of the new CTLs, the 11,100-pound RT-110, features a 4-cylinder turbocharged Perkins diesel engine that delivers 111 hp. Equipped with 18-inch-wide rubber tracks that produce 4.3-psi ground pressure as a standard feature, 20-inch-wide tracks are available as an option.

A specially configured RT-110/F designed for high production brush cutting is also available. The RT-110/F has the 20-inch-wide tracks as standard, which increases ground contact area by more than 11 percent, while reducing ground pressure to 3.9 psi.

National sales manager John Wilkinson says the company is currently developing a dealer network.
