Kirby-Smith Machinery has opened its newest facility in McAlester, Oklahoma, to serve customers in southeastern Oklahoma, the company says.

The dealership is looking forward to a grand opening in Spring 2019, following the purchase of the facility last year.  Kirby-Smith says they will also improve coverage options for customers located geographically between the heavy equipment distributor’s Tulsa and Dallas branches.

The McAlester branch offers new, used, and rental options for cranes, excavators, dozers, pavers, boom trucks, backhoe loaders and other heavy equipment. This location also provides full product support with parts and service solutions available, the company says.

“We are very excited about our newest branch location in McAlester,” says Jeff Weller, chief operating officer and executive vice president.

“It is strategically located to ensure that existing and new customers in southeastern Oklahoma will receive the care they deserve,” he says of the McAlester branch. “We see a lot of positive growth on the 75 corridor in both Oklahoma and Texas, and this McAlester office will fill in the distance that existed between Tulsa and Dallas.”

McAlester will carry the same manufacturing lines as its sister branches in Oklahoma City, which is the location for the company headquarters, and Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Kirby-Smith Machinery is the authorized dealer throughout Oklahoma for Komatsu earthmoving equipment and the Wirtgen Group line of roadbuilding equipment, Takeuchi compact equipment, Terramac crawler carriers, and Manitowoc Cranes, among others.
