On-highway diesel fuel prices rose $0.007 per gallon in the U.S. this week, according to our sister site, Aggregates Manager.
The declining costs mark the third consecutive week of rising diesel prices.
This week, diesel prices rose in most regions of the U.S., while one region experienced declining costs.
The greatest increase this week occurred in the Central Atlantic region, which experienced a $0.030-per-gallon rise from last week’s prices but a $0.061-per-gallon year-over-year decline.
The only decline this week occurred in the Lower Atlantic region, where prices are $0.009 per gallon lower than a week ago and $0.055 per gallon lower than a year ago.
Overall, national prices rose $0.007 per gallon this week to $3.910, and they are $0.001 per gallon lower than a year ago.
