Mack Trucks has announced that it is working to connect real-time concrete mixer data into its telematics service through a partnership with WheresMyConcrete.
WheresMyConcrete is a service that allows mixer fleet dispatchers to track delivery and order progress as it happens. The cloud-based software gives dispatchers a 30,000-foot view of the entire operation through order updates, mix designs, digital tickets and signatures.
Using water and drum sensors as well as GPS, the service provides maps updated in real time with truck location, payload and status. The service can be accessed through Android and iOS smartphone apps as well as through a desktop browser.

Though Mack has not given specifics on how the integration will work, WheresMyConcrete will be integrated into Mack’s Fleet Management Services, a platform launched in 2014 that connects Mack’s GuardDog Connect telematics hardware with third-party solutions.
GuardDog Connect is standard equipment on Mack Pinnacle, Granite, Titan and TerraPro concrete pumper models.
