“A lot of times, people get complacent seeing these [construction] signs, especially on U.S. 278 and S.C. 170 since there’s so much construction that’s been going on here lately,” Senior Trooper Hannah Wimberly says. “Always keep in mind that these workers are out here working on the roads to make the roads safer for us. So, let’s give them the courtesy to, you know, obey the speed limit.”
Wimberly reminds everyone that highway construction workers put their lives on the line for our safety, not just theirs.
