After several weeks of wearing the Cat Revolver for a review posted here in September, this steel-toe, pull-on-style work boot has become the go-to boot for both myself and my son.
The boots feature a spot-on fit, a short break-in period and a construction that gives this boot the feel of a lightweight tank, with nice, thick leather that is just the right stiffness. The Revolver also has an aggressive, slip-resistant tread and will keep your feet dry in wet, muddy conditions. Plus, they are ASTM F2413-05 1/75 EH-rated to protect you from open circuits up to 600 volts in dry conditions.
And while the look of the leather on these boots ages well with use, I experienced minimal scratching appearances and no gouges.
You can read more about the Revolver in my full review here. These boots retail for $105 on the Cat website and anywhere from $78 to $141 on Amazon.
