Honda Power Equipment adds to industrial generator line at Rental Show

Choose from three generators with the Honda Industrial Series, showcased at the Rental Show in Las Vegas. In addition to the existing EB3000c model, Honda replaced the EB3500 with a new model, the EB4000. The company also redesigned the EB5000 and EB6500. The Industrial Series features the iGX simple I platform engine, as well as the iAVR Power Advantage, which reduces voltage fluctuation by 50 percent, according to the company. The iAVR system enables increased wattage above maximum rating to start high-amp load applications. All of the generators have a fluorine fuel tube and canister system with tethered chain-type gas cap.

EB4000: Features the iGX270 engine with a 9.8-hour run time at rated load; 71-dB rating.

EB5000: Features the iGX390 engine with 8.4-hour run time at rated load; 72-dB rating.

EB6500: Features the iBX390 engine with 7-hour run time at rated load; 73-dB rating.
