A TL100 compact track loader came off the assembly line at the Yanmar’s Grand Rapids, Minnesota, plant recently, marking the company's 50,000th completed machine there.

Yanmar Compact Equipment highlighted the milestone machine as a defining moment in its North American growth strategy and commemorated the plant’s 50,000th and 50,001st machines with custom decals.

Yanmar gained its Grand Rapids facility through the company’s 2019 acquisition of ASV (a brand that Yanmar has decided to phase out of the U.S. market) and has subsequently invested another $32 million into the plant. Another investment of $30 million is planned over the next five years to expand the plant’s engineering capability, improve its production capacity and support future product development.

The TL100 hit the U.S. market in 2024 as Yanmar’s first-ever compact track loader after its debut was announced at ConExpo 2023.
