Pettibone Extendo 1246X telehandler boasts 12,000-lb. lift capacity
Pettibone’s new Extendo 1246X Telehandler features 12,000-pound lifting capacity for contractors and rental users working in demanding construction jobsite conditions.
The telehandler has a max lift height of 46 feet, 6 inches and forward reach of 30 feet. A 30-gallon fuel tank allows for a full workday without needing a refill.

VIDEO: Ford previews electric F-150 by towing 1 million lbs.
Eager to remind everyone that it is serious about electrification, Ford recently orchestrated quite the PR stunt with a prototype F-150 the company says is 100 percent battery-powered.
Though the truck in the video below looks like a current-generation F-150, the truck sits atop a fully-electrified platform that is still in the prototype stage. For the video, Ford hooks this electric F-150 up to 10 double-decker rail cars, weighing 1 million pounds and pulls the entire load for 1,000 feet.

Test Drive: Towing 35,500 pounds with the 2020 Chevy Silverado 3500 (VIDEO)
It was easy spotting the 2020 Chevy Silverado 3500 outside of the airport in Bend, Oregon—it was the one towing a giant anvil.
Chevy had local craftsmen build the faux anvil to celebrate its class-leading tow rating of 35,500 pounds.
Reporters got some brief time behind the wheel of Chevy’s top pickup recently at the Bend Municipal Airport. The anvil sat poised like a giant trophy on top of plate steel stacked on a Big Tex fifth wheel flatbed.

Hitachi ushers in next-gen mid-size loaders with new ZW220-6
Dubbing it as a “do-it-all” machine, Hitachi Construction Machinery Loaders America has introduced its latest wheel loader, the ZW220-6.
The first mid-size loader in Hitachi’s Dash-6 generation lineup, the ZW220-6 is powered by a Cummins engine providing 200 horsepower and 34,170 pounds of breakout force. The engine meets Tier 4 Final emissions requirements through a selective catalytic reduction system that uses diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) and eliminates the needs for a diesel particulate filter (DPF). The engine also features an auto shutdown feature that results in a 7 percent reduction in fuel costs, Hitachi says.
