Link-Belt Cranes

Link-Belt is expanding its telescopic crawler crane lineup with the new TCC-1800.

The crane features a 42.7- to 197.3-foot greaseless six-section pin and latch boom, as well as a 55-foot bi-fold hydraulically offsetable SmartFly attachment system.

The addition of up to three 18-foot lattice extensions can deliver a max tip height of 314 feet.

The TCC-1800 is the first of Link-Belt’s telescopic crawler cranes to feature two independent extension cylinders on each side frame for smoother track extension and retraction. This comes in handy when lifting in confined areas, enabling the crane multiple track positions and nine 360-degree lifting charts with pick and carry, including counter-rotation.

Versatile maneuverability makes the TCC-1800 ideal for jobs including data centers, bridges and refineries, according to Link-Belt. The 180-ton crane sits between Link-Belt’s TCC-1400 and its largest telescopic crawler crane, the 250-ton TCC-2500, following customer demand for something to fill the gap.

Powered by a 310-horsepower, Tier 4 Final Cummins QSB6.7 diesel engine, the TCC-1800 features auto-idle for reduced fuel consumption and an available auxiliary power unit to run essential cab systems without the main engine.

In the cab, operators will have access to Link-Belt’s Pulse 2.0 Rated Capacity Limiter to simplify interfacing the TCC-1800’s features via its 10-inch touchscreen display, such as setting ground-pressure alarms and using fine metering for precise picks. The display hosts the TCC-1800’s onboard diagnostics, which offer Wi-Fi updates and remote troubleshooting.

Link-Belt highlights transportability with the TCC-1800, which ships under 108,000 pounds with boom, main and auxiliary wire ropes; a 120-ton hook block; and a 10-foot hydraulic offsetable SmartFly.

Other features on the TCC-1800 include:

  • Centralized grease and electrical locations
  • Wireless rigging remote
  • Fall-arrest anchors
  • Swing boundary poles
  • Ergonomic dual-axis controls with free-swing and auto-brake capabilities

Shipments for the TCC-1800 will begin in the third quarter of 2026.
