John Deere says it has reduced the price of the JDLink Ultimate subscription, the company’s telematics service for construction equipment.
The service now costs $200 per year, while a subscription to JDLink Ultimate Dual will be $630. Deere has also eliminated tier pricing and is allowing customers to purchase up to three years of a subscription.
“We want to make it even easier for our customers to stay connected, and to do so, we are reducing prices to make this solution even more affordable and consolidating our subscription structure,” says Ana-Maria Mallia, product marketing manager, JDLink.
Deere is also folding its Ultimate and Ultimate dual subscriptions for forestry equipment into the larger JDLink Ultimate and JDLink Ultimate dual subscriptions.
Moving forward, the company says, the Wireless-Data-Transfer and Limited Internet features offered in the Forestry Ultimate subscription will be included with all Ultimate and Ultimate Dual subscriptions. The change will be applied to both existing Forestry machines as well as new machine orders.
