Available through Ammann’s U.S. distributors, ServiceLink data can be accessed through the free Ammann Service App or its Service Portal, giving fleet managers and others machine data on the go.

Ammann began adding ServiceLink as standard to all its electric-start, lightweight APR, APH and ARW series compactors in January. It can also be retrofitted to older compactors that have batteries up to 30 volts.

The app provides a view of stored data, allowing users to efficiently plan service intervals. The system alerts dealers or users by email when the compactor is due for service or its battery is low.

It also displays the next service interval after maintenance work and stores previous maintenance and service information. A technician can mark replacement parts as missing on the machine, and that information is automatically available the next time the app is used.

For fleet and rental management, the app provides a list of the fleet with the most recent information, including maintenance history and operating hours, which helps when generating invoices at the end of a leasing period.
