New Holland Construction Launches New Electric & Mini Excavator Models at CONEXPO 2026

At CONEXPO CON/AGG 2026, New Holland Construction showed off its next generation of mini excavators and electric-powered machines, highlighting their customizability for users’ specific needs.

Dan Kakareka, Product Marketing Manager at New Holland Construction, was particularly proud of the new E60D, the largest mini excavator in New Holland Construction’s lineup. The E60D has 60HP, weighs just over 13,000 pounds, and is packed with features, including up to three aux ports, an LED light package, a 7-inch monitor, and a rear-view camera. Kakareka highlighted that the E60D’s controls can be easily customized based on user preferences.

â€śYou’ve got the standard different work modes, but then you can adjust things like what controls you have in each hand,” Kakareka told Equipment World’s Bryan Furnace. “So you get the standard pattern changer, but let’s say you want your thumb control in your left joystick versus your right joystick. You can swap that. [We] make the operator as comfortable as possible in there.”

Kakareka said the E60D’s greatest highlight is its serviceability, making repairs easy and straightforward.

â€śYou’ve got two wide opening panels, and then with just removing two bolts from the backside, that cab will tilt forward,” Kakareka said. So if you ever have any issues or need to clean out that compartment in there, you have full access to all your hydraulic lines underneath the cab there.”

Meanwhile,  Jake Sickels, Product Marketing Manager at New Holland Construction, showed Furnace New Holland Construction’s new array of electric vehicles. In particular, he pointed out the C314X Electric Mini Track Loader. Weighing around 3,800lbs in the narrow track configuration, 1,400lbs rated operating capacity and a battery run time of 4-7 hours, it is a great machine for a variety of applications for interior and exterior projects.

â€śThis is built off the same technology that our diesel C314 Mini Track Loader currently has,” Sickels said. “We’re offering two different configurations for this model. We’re offering a wide track and a narrow track. Along with those configurations, we’re offering two different track options. Not only do we have our standard track that we see behind us today, but we’re also offering non-marking tracks, which would be great for interior applications for some of our customers doing those plumbing, demolition, or restoration jobs on the job site.”

Another exciting feature of the C314X is its EH controls, which now allow operators to custom configure the controls and adjust the hydraulic sensitivity and outputs, similarly to the comfort, according to Sickels, New Holland Construction customers experience with EZ-EH Controls on the brand’s skid steers and compact track loaders.

What's going on everybody? We are at Khan Expo 2026, in the New Holland booth. Today we're talking to Dan Karaka and Jake Sickles about their new series excavators and their electric equipment offerings. Let's go take a look.

 00;00;16;03 - 00;00;26;16

Dan Kakareka

Today we're launching the brand new D series mini excavators here on the lot. We've got six of the nine brand new models for us.

 00;00;26;19 - 00;00;33;00

Bryan Furnace

So we're standing here in front of the new D series E60. Dan, tell me a bit about some of the new features on the D series machines.

 00;00;33;04 - 00;00;51;20

Dan Kakareka

So the E60 d is our largest mini excavator in our lineup, comes in at 60 horsepower at just over 13,000 pounds, and it is packed with standard features. C comes standard with our first Torx second ox, and you've got an option for third as well to run attachments like the steel wrist we have located on here. And we also have a mulcher option as well.

 00;00;51;20 - 00;01;14;02

Dan Kakareka

So it's a dedicated Mulcher line or high flow line. So you get that dedicated flow to the attachment. So when you're doing those multi functioning activities you're not robbing flow from the attachments back in full efficiency at all times. Yeah. Other standard features are going to be the LED light package on here. So you got maximum visibility around the machine whether you're working early mornings or late at night.

 00;01;14;04 - 00;01;30;09

Dan Kakareka

You get the large seven inch monitor in there too, with the rear view camera all coming standard on the machine. Now, in that monitor, you've got a lot of features in there, some adjustability for the operator. So you've got the standard different work modes, but then you can adjust things like what controls you have any chance. So you get the standard pattern changer.

 00;01;30;10 - 00;01;47;26

Dan Kakareka

But say you want your thumb control in your left joystick versus your right joystick. You could swap that. Oh, you're right in there. So make the operator as comfortable as possible in there. That's a nice wide cab, the large front opening window. And you also have the ability to store that lower window in the upper window. So a lot of manufacturers you have to take it out store it somewhere.

 00;01;48;03 - 00;01;54;05

Dan Kakareka

Our lower glass will slide up and lock in place in the upper window. And you can just store it right above your head when you raise that up.

 00;01;54;05 - 00;02;03;23

Bryan Furnace

No more throwing the glass behind you and shattering it on the way, and then having to tell the boss that we have to replace the lower glass and the X absolutely love it when.

 00;02;03;26 - 00;02;20;16

Dan Kakareka

The real highlight of this machine is the serviceability. Though you can standard with the reversible fan, you've got two wide opening panels and then with just removing two bolts from the back side that can tilt forward. So if you ever have any issues or need to clean out that compartment in there, have full access to all your hydraulic lines underneath the cab there.

 00;02;20;18 - 00;02;28;14

Bryan Furnace

Perfect. Thank you. Let's go take a look at the electric machines.

 00;02;28;17 - 00;02;32;19

Bryan Furnace

All right. We are now inside the booth. Jake, tell us a bit about the electric equipment you guys are offering.

 00;02;32;24 - 00;02;46;06

Jake Sickels

Yeah. So as we talked about the D series mini excavators outside, we're really excited to be launching the next generation of electric products for new horn construction. We're launching two models here at the show. The C3 14 X is probably the most exciting, as well as our two and a half ton E-Series mini excavator.

 00;02;46;08 - 00;02;55;09

Bryan Furnace

So it is interesting we're here talking about electric equipment. We're here in Vegas and walking around the casinos last night. There's electric equipment working in the casinos that is becoming more and more of a thing.

 00;02;55;11 - 00;03;15;13

Jake Sickels

Absolutely. And I think that's really unique. So we're in here in our technology depot. And that really provides the opportunity for our customers to imagine these machines not only working successfully outside, but also working in these interior applications. Real estate isn't getting any cheaper. So the opportunity for our customers to be doing interior demolition jobs, renovations on preexisting structures is something that we're really leaning towards.

 00;03;15;19 - 00;03;24;02

Bryan Furnace

So you mentioned the word technology, and that is something that is becoming more and more of a thing in our industry. Tell me a bit about the technology offerings that you guys have for your customers.

 00;03;24;03 - 00;03;46;20

Jake Sickels

Absolutely. So seeing really wants to be the one stop shop for our new home construction customers. So the ability for us to provide those machines that can be serviced within our dealer network, but also provide the technology associated with that, is something really exciting. Not only are we offering our machines, but we're also offering mining home construction, which is our seven year standard telematics package, as well as site control, which is our machine control solution.

 00;03;46;23 - 00;03;50;26

Bryan Furnace

So we're standing in front of the C 314 x. This is a pretty unique machine Jake. Tell me a bit about it.

 00;03;50;29 - 00;04;06;29

Jake Sickels

Brian. We're really excited to be launching our C 314 next year. Icon Expo 2026. This is built off the same technology that our diesel C 314 mini track go to currently has. Okay, we're offering two different configurations for this model. We're offering a wide track and a narrow track. Along with those configurations, we're offering two different track options.

 00;04;07;06 - 00;04;26;10

Jake Sickels

Not only do we have our standard track that we see behind us here today, but we're also offering Non-marking tracks, which would be great for these interior applications for some of our customers who are doing those plumbing demolition, restoration jobs. Yeah. Jobsite. Same performance that we're going to have from our diesel equivalent 87 inch hinge pin height. This machine weighs about 3,800 pounds.

 00;04;26;12 - 00;04;33;21

Jake Sickels

We've also got 14 gallon per minute auxiliary hydraulic flow for this front operating implements.

 00;04;33;24 - 00;04;56;04

Jake Sickels

Uniquely, one thing that is different about this machine compared to our diesel configuration is this is actually each electric over hydraulic control is compared to the pilot controls of our diesel machine. Our C 314 X here at the show is a fully loaded model. So this machine not only has everything that's going to come standard with the C 314 X, but this machine also has our like a 2D precision machine control kit on it.

 00;04;56;12 - 00;04;58;03

Bryan Furnace

And what kind of runtime are you getting out of this machine?

 00;04;58;04 - 00;05;12;04

Jake Sickels

We're looking at about 4 to 7 hours, and that's really dependent on the type of attachment that's on the front of it. When we're operating with just a bucket, we're going to see closer to that seven hour range. However, when we start to put a hammer on it or any other type of hydraulically operating attachment, then that will cut that runtime down a little bit.

 00;05;12;06 - 00;05;17;04

Jake Sickels

These machines are going to be delivered in Q3 of 2026, and we look forward to seeing them out in the field very soon.

 00;05;17;07 - 00;05;18;08

Bryan Furnace

Jake, thank you so much.

 00;05;18;09 - 00;05;22;11

Jake Sickels

Thanks, Brian.

 00;05;22;13 - 00;05;24;14

Bryan Furnace

So if someone wants more information, where should they go?

 00;05;24;18 - 00;05;29;27

Jake Sickels

Absolutely. We invite you to visit construction Dot Newhall Incom or contact your nearest New Holland construction dealer.
