Mobile crusher offers flexibility and productivity

The largest impact crusher in Komatsu America’s mobile crushing fleet, the new BR480RG-1 can process up to 441 tons per hour for recycling, demolition and secondary rock crushing applications. Equipped with a 306-horsepower engine and a KR1313 impact crusher, the new machine is capable of crushing large volumes of concrete debris and fine crushing natural stone in a single pass.

A variable speed rotor allows for quick adjustments of the processing volume and the semi-automatic feeder system will adjust the feed should the crusher become overloaded. An automatic gap adjustment mechanism allows the gap to be changed by inputting the outlet gap size. To increase wear life on internal parts, the grizzly feeder uses an upward slope feeder and two-stage muck extraction, making it difficult for fine material to enter the impactor. A pre-cleaner and double element air cleaner prevent dust from entering the engine and a water spray system beats down dust to prevent environmental problems.
