Parsons Brinckerhoff names New York metropolitan planning/environmental group

Parsons Brinckerhoff (PB), a global infrastructure strategic consulting, engineering and program/construction management organization, has named Nicole Bucich as manager of its New York metropolitan planning/environmental group.

In her new position, Bucich will be responsible for the staffing, resource allocation and delivery of all planning/environmental services in the New York region.

She has 20 years of experience in the transportation industry and has managed numerous transit/transportation planning and environmental documentation efforts in the New York area.

Prior to joining PB, she was a senior transportation planner/project manager with a New York-area transportation consulting firm, responsible for managing projects involving environmental impact statements/environmental assessments, alternative analyses, new starts documentation, feasibility and needs assessments, operations and maintenance cost models, fleet planning and financial/cost benefit analyses.

Bucich earned a master of science degree in transportation from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

She is a member of the Greater New York chapter of Women’s Transportation Seminar (WTS).
