Firestone’s Air Command Android app allows remote suspension adjustments

Updated Dec 12, 2012

Firestone Android App Hi ResHave you ever wished adjusting your suspension was easier? Now, with Firestone Industrial Products’ Air Command Android app, you can remotely adjust the amount of air in your truck’s Firestone helper springs with your smartphone.

The app works with Firestone’s Android Air Command Kit, which provides an instant air source to their suspension products. The kit has an updated Electronic Control Unit specifically designed to work with Android applications.

After downloading  Air Command, the app  app allows the phone control the amount of air in the springs from up to 25 feet away, enabling the driver to visually inspect the truck’s ride height while it is loaded. The system’s ECU is sealed against the elements and can therefore be mounted outside the truck without having to draw wires into the cab.

The Air Command Android app will be available soon from the Google Play store. An iPhone app will be available in 2013.
