Manitou intros MTA 5019, MTA 9050 telehandlers

Manitou has introduced two new telehandlers to its MTA machine lineup, the Series III MTA 5019 and the Series II MTA 9050.

With an operating capacity of 5,500 pounds, the MTA 5519 is powered by a 69-horsepower, Tier 4 Yanmar Engine paired with a two-speed Rexroth transmission. Lift height is 19 feet, 1 inch, with a load capacity at max height of 3,000 pounds. Max forward reach is 11 feet with capacity at max forward reach of 1,850 pounds.

The machine boasts 173 lbs.-ft. of torque and a maximum travel speed of 15 miles per hour.

New to the MTA 5519, which features selectable 4-wheel, 2-wheel and crab steering, is a single F-N-D joystick. Inside the cab operators will also find a multi-function engine diagnostic display, a power port and a lockable storage area.

The beefier MTA 9050 boasts an operating capacity of 9,000 pounds. Max lift height is 50 feet, 1 inch, with max capacity at max height of 5,000 pounds.

The 9050 is powered by a 120-horsepower, Tier 4 Cummins QSV 3.8 engine paired with a four-speed Dana Powershift transmission. Max travel speed is 20.1 mph and torque is 360 lbs.-ft.

Max forward reach is 36 feet, 11 inches, with capacity at max forward reach of 500 pounds.

The 9050 also features the multi-function display, selectable 4-wheel, 2-wheel and crab steering, lockable cab storage, a standard auxiliary hydraulic line and an air intake heater.
