Thumb-controlled throttle keeps boom truck operator’s feet on floor

Elliot Equipment’s new 32-ton-capacity boom truck, the 32105, features a 105-foot-long, four-section boom with a 115-foot tip height. The high mounting geometry of the boom pivot pin provides additional power out of the hole for better lifting. The “Ride-Around” operator control platform gives optimal load viewing during 360 degrees of boom operation, and the thumb throttle engine speed control eliminates the foot throttle control, allowing the operator to keep both feet securely on the platform while managing the speed of the load.
