Digga skid steer AugerThe Digga Skid Steer Auger Drive comes in a variety of sizes to match skid steers and compact track loaders, hydraulic oil flow ranges of 6 to 30 gallons per minute.

These compact drives run on a 33-horsepower Eaton bell motor. Their design allows the high-torque gearbox to go down the digging hole to maximize drilling depths without extensions, according to Digga. The motor’s integrated pressure relief valve eliminates the need for bulky valve blocks, which also reduces potential leak points, the company says.

The drive’s two-piece shaft design delivers maximum side load ratings without increasing load on the bearings. With an optional anti-kickback valve, these drives can be converted to a screw anchor drive. Hub options include a 2-inch hex or 2 9/16-inch round hub.

The attachment is sold through Skid Steer Solutions. The four models are 1DSS for 6-15 gpm; 2DSS for 10-25 gpm; 3DSS for 10-30 gpm; and 4DSS for 10-30 gpm.
