Avant Tecno says its new and largest fully electric compact loader, the e727, delivers diesel-like power, efficiency and cost-controlled operation for demanding lifting and material handling tasks.
The e727 matches the performance specifications of similar-sized diesel machines, the company says, offering 3,086 pounds of lift capacity, a lifting height of 121.3 inches and a travel speed of 8.7 mph.
Equipped with Avant’s 27-kWh OptiTemp battery, the loader can run for approximately 5.5 hours in medium-duty loading applications. The same battery has been successfully used in Avant’s smaller e537. It can be charged from 10% to 80% in 1 hour 10 minutes using Avant’s DC rapid charging station.

The powertrain is composed of a single electric motor, a variable displacement drive pump and two auxiliary hydraulic pumps. The two-speed drive system offers smooth operation for both light and heavy-duty tasks, the company says.
The new Autoshift feature optimizes energy efficiency by automatically adjusting between low and high gear.
“Bringing a fully electric, sustainable loader that’s as powerful and reliable as our diesel models to the U.S. market has been a long time coming,” said Beau Slavens, president of Avant Tecno USA. “The e727’s advanced features, like the Autoshift and its enhanced powertrain, allow operators to enjoy the same power and performance they expect from Avant machines, but with the added benefits of lower noise and environmental impact.”

The Avant e727 can run light to medium-duty hydraulically rotating attachments. Avant manufactures more than 200 attachments, including buckets, grapples, forks, blades, plows. A variety of customization options allow buyers to tailor the loader to their needs.
Avant Tecno USA has begun distributing the Avant e727 to its North American network of authorized dealers.
