Wacker Neuson Group says it is bringing its Weidemann brand of agricultural wheel loaders and telehandlers to the U.S. market, following a successful introduction in Canada.
Wacker Neuson Group is the parent company of the Wacker Neuson, Kramer, Weidemann and Enar brands of construction, agricultural and concrete equipment. The group acquired Weidemann in 2005. With the acquisition, the red Weidemann wheel loaders were rebranded in Wacker Neuson livery and marketed to the construction industry.
Despite the crossover in products, Wacker Neuson Group says Weidemann’s entry into the U.S. market is part of a long-term strategy, with each brand focused on distinct market segments.
“With Weidemann dedicated to agriculture and Wacker Neuson focused on construction, we can offer the right products and expertise to each market,” says Gert Reichetseder, President & CEO Americas, Wacker Neuson Group. “It’s a long-term commitment – and we see great potential for Weidemann’s proven concept here in North America.”
“Weidemann’s DNA has always been agriculture,” added Manuel Meyer, Director of Ag Business – Weidemann North America. “Our machines are designed to handle the daily challenges on farms – from feeding livestock to stacking bales. This step into the U.S. isn’t about making a quick splash; it’s about building trust, one partnership at a time.”
Weidemann’s product portfolio includes:
Farm Loaders: The 1160, 1260LP and 1390 offer a compact design, low center of gravity, tight turning radius and powerful performance for a wide range of applications.
Articulated Wheel Loaders: The 56.3-horsepower 2060 and the 74.3-horsepower 4060 bring maneuverability and strong lifting forces to more demanding jobs.
Telescopic Wheel Loaders: The 2060T, 3080T, 4060T, 5080T and 9580T feature a robust telescopic arm designed for increased lifting height and reach compared to a standard wheel loader.
Compact Telehandlers: The all-wheel-drive T4512, T6025 and T7042 offer strong lifting performance in a compact package for a wide range of stacking and loading tasks. An advanced driver assistance system and good all-around visibility ease operation.
A hydraulic quick hitch system, an easy coupler system and a variety of attachments and tires are also available.
Weidemann products will be gradually rolled out across the United States, with the first phase focused on establishing a strong dealer network to ensure dependable service and support, the company says.
