Sany Launches 4 New Mini Excavators From 3.7 to 8.8 Metric Tons

Sany has debuted four new mini excavators ranging from 3.7 to 8.8 metric tons and 23 to 72 net horsepower for the North American market.

The new models get Yanmar diesel engines, swing booms and load-sensing hydraulics, which the company says delivers faster cycle times, strong breakout forces and lifting power.

Three of the models are zero tail swing, and one is conventional tail swing. The smallest two can be configured as enclosed cab or ROPS canopy.

Here’s a look at Sany's four new models — the SY35U, SY50U, SY60C and SY80U — their features and specs:

SY35U 

Sany says its SY35U is ready for running a variety of attachments.

Buyers get a choice of canopy or cab with heating and air conditioning.

Features on the 3.7- to 3.8-metric-ton SY35U include:

Sany says its SY50U is designed for grading, trenching and utility work on confined residential and commercial landscaping sites and “for jobs that demand more lifting power, reach and stability without giving up maneuverability.”
