Certified Equipment Manager exam
Tuesday, March 4; 8 a.m.-12 p.m.
The Certified Equipment Manager (CEM) designation is the only recognized standard for judging the qualifications of a manager of heavy off-road equipment or manager of municipal or government fleets. An application is required prior to being qualified to sit for the exam. The minimum requirements are 25 points earned on the application based on experience and other established criteria. The Career Equipment Fleet manager manual is available at www.aemp.org.
Areas of competency tested: The five standards of equipment management – Finance, Information, Policies, Controls and Customer Service.

Certified Equipment Support Professional
Tuesday, March 4; 8 a.m.-12 p.m.
The Certified Equipment Support Professional (CESP) designation is a recognized standard for judging the qualifications of a supplier of equipment for private, municipal and government fleets. The CESP exam provides a high standard of certification to a professional supplier who possesses a depth of understanding of fleet management skills, and who demonstrates the ability to interact on a professional level with fleet-related professionals.
Areas of competency tested: For purposes of the CESP exam, the description of a CESP is a professional supplier from an OEM or dealer network who has demonstrated competency of the five standards described in the Career Equipment Fleet Manager manual. The manual is available at www.aemp.org.
