Takeuchi-US has announced the addition of Luby Equipment Services to its dealer network. The company has three locations in the St. Louis metro area and will be Takeuchi’s exclusive dealer there.
Luby will carry the full Takeuchi lineup including excavators, track loaders, skid steer loaders and wheel loaders. The dealer provides sales, service, parts and rental to customers in the construction, oilfield and energy markets.
As part of the agreement, Luby will expand its equipment and parts inventory levels. The company also plans to hire more technicians and parts, personnel and product support staff to support increased demand for Takeuchi products in St. Louis.
Headquartered in Fenton, Missouri, Luby was established in 1974 and has six total branches: three in Missouri and three in Illinois.
“Luby Equipment has been a strong partner with Takeuchi in the Illinois and Missouri markets for many years,” said Jeff Stewart, vice president and general manager at Takeuchi-US. “There is a lot of opportunity around the St. Louis area, and Takeuchi will certainly fill a need there, backed by tremendous dealer support.”
