Hy-Brid intros PS-1930, its tallest scissor lift at 19 feet; meets ANSI standards
Hy-Brid Lifts has introduced the new 19-foot PS-1930, which represents the company’s tallest scissor lift, and it meets new U.S. standards for aerial lifts scheduled to take effect in March.
Along with extending to 19 feet, the PS-1930 is the lightest in its class, at less than 2,000 pounds. It also offers a class-leading platform capacity of 650 pounds and has a working height of 25 feet. Ford to offer integrated Warn electric winch on 2020 Super Duty Tremor trucks
Ford says it will, for the first time, offer an integrated winch as a factory option on its 2020 Super Duty trucks.
An exclusive Ford Performance Part made by Warn, the electric winch will deliver 12,000 pounds of winching power. The winch will be available both as a factory option or as a dealer-installed after-sale accessory.

Volvo’s EC300E Hybrid excavator ain’t got that swing; captures boom-down energy instead
Instead of capturing an excavator’s swing energy to provide an electric assist to the engine, the hydraulic hybrid assist system on Volvo Construction Equipment’s upcoming 30-ton EC300E Hybrid uses the energy generated by the boom down motion and captures it hydraulically to assist in the boom up motion.
“This is where you need most of the pressure and power to operate,” says Ray Gallant, Volvo CE vice president of sales support — Americas. “We’re not generating electricity, and we’re not storing energy.” Instead, a hydraulic accumulator provides the additional power for the lift, assisting the hydraulic pump.
