Brokk 200 demolition robot punches above its weight class, still fits through doors (VIDEO)
Describing the collection of machines before us at the company’s World of Concrete booth as part of “the single biggest product launch in the history of Brokk,” Peter Bigwood, the company’s vice president of sales, said one new machine in particular has generated a lot of excitement.
Back in December, the company unveiled four new demolition robot models: the B520D, B300, B200 and B170. The 520D, 300 and 170 are largely updates to existing size classes. But the B200, Bigwood says, represents a whole new size class for the company.
”We’ve taken this hammer, which used to be on a 3-ton machine and placed it on this 2.1-ton machine,” he says of the 200, which can fit through openings as small as 31 inches. “We’ve taken a hammer that needs more oil and more pressure than the 170 can provide and designed this machine to give that hammer everything it needs to perform at its optimum performance.”

Ram reveals 2019 Heavy Duty Sport pickups
Ram Trucks is continuing the roll-out of its new 2019 Ram Heavy Duty trucks with the debut of the Sport package.
The new Sport package features a monochromatic design theme with body color bumpers, door handles and grille surround. Sport is available in 12 colors, including Billet Silver, Patriot Blue and Diamond Black Crystal.

Ram unveils 2019 2500, 3500 Laramie Longhorn trucks
After revealing the refreshed design and huge power of its latest heavy duty pickups two weeks ago, Ram has announced details surrounding its top of the line trim for these models, the Laramie Longhorn.
The 2019 Ram 2500 and 3500 Laramie Longhorn Edition features premium materials like wood, metal and leather, the trucks feature design cues from handcrafted wares like pocket watches, hand-tooled leather cowboy boots and saddles.
“The new Ram Heavy Duty sets benchmarks in ride and handling, luxury, materials, innovation and technology, extending well past any competitive offerings,” says Reid Bigland, head of the Ram brand. “The Laramie Longhorn is filled with more craftsman-like details — including wood surfaces and 100 percent full-grain leather seats — than any other truck in the segment.”

Deere intros 544L loader with EH controls, cab improvements, new linkage
Contractors comparing the new John Deere 544L wheel loader with its predecessor 544K will notice three major changes, says Chris Cline, Deere product marketing manager for utility wheel loaders: the cab environment, electric-over-hydraulic controls and the linkage.
The 166-horsepower 544L, on display at the 2019 World of Concrete show, is one of three utility loaders updated to the L- Series. The 524L and 624L also were recently announced by Deere.

Bobcat’s new Bob-Dock hydraulic attachment mounting system allows you to stay in the cab when changing attachments
Bobcat’s Bob-Dock hydraulic attachment mounting system is designed to offer operators an easy repeatable way to connect hydraulic compact loader attachments without leaving their seat. It was unveiled during last week’s World of Concrete show.
“Bob-Dock is the next evolution of the attachment exchange system,” says Jason Boerger, Bobcat marketing manager, a pathway that has evolved from the Bob-Tach and Power Bob-Tach systems.
“While these have been great, users still need to get out of the cab to hook up hoses on hydraulic attachments,” Boerger continues. “The Bob-Dock lets you connect these attachments – even those that are not Bobcat attachments — without getting out of the cab. This offers real time savings and convenience.”
