screen-shot-2016-11-18-at-11-00-02-amOnline equipment auctioneer IronPlanet and its TruckPlanet marketplace have launched a new service aimed at buyers looking to purchase trucks in bulk during on-site or online auctions.

The company says the program, Fleet Services, will work in conjunction with IronPlanet Truck Locator and have access to more than $200 million in trucks, including Class 8.

“With our new Fleet Services program, and IronPlanet Truck Locator, we are now also the destination for fleet buyers of all sizes,” says Paul Blalock, vice president of truck sales. “If you want to buy one late-model sleeper or daycab, that’s great and we have what you want, but now if you want to buy 25 matched trucks that are all trade-term ready, IronPlanet Truck Locator will help you manage or grow your fleet quickly, easily and economically all at once.”

Registration and access is free at www.truckplanet.com. Users first select a truck and make an offer. TruckPlanet then processes the request and finds the number of trucks sought.

The company says Fleet Services also offers a dedicated inside sales team and expands to other equipment classes, including the new shipping container inventory, also to be available for bulk purchasing.
