The Turner County Sheriff’s Office reported that three construction workers were injured November 21, when the bridge they were working on near Hurley, S.D., collapsed, according to the Argus Leader.

The bridge, which spans Turkey Ridge Creek, fell approximately 10 feet.

Turner County Sheriff Steven Luke told the news agency that the bridge workers were pouring concrete when a support bar collapsed, but added that their injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.

No vehicles were involved in the incident, as the bridge was closed for repairs. According to KSFY TV, the bridge repairs are part of a larger project along Highway 18 that began over the summer.
