Manitou has consolidated its attachments brands under one name.
Manitou Attachments Group will now cover all Manitou and Edge attachments for construction, agriculture, mining and logistics equipment. That includes telehandlers, compact loaders, articulated loaders, backhoes and forklifts manufactured by the group’s three brands: Manitou, Gehl and Mustang by Manitou.
The change follows the company’s decision in February to launch a similar consolidation of its parts brands into Manitou Group Parts.
“Our goal is to respond to all of our users’ needs in a more coherent way,” says Wim Roose, global product line manager for attachments. “Providing a complete solution with quality service and the perfect attachment for their needs is our priority."
The company says its dedicated attachments design office will be able to respond to all requests, including niche markets.
With the new name also comes a new logo across the company’s 17 product categories.
