Another worker was killed in a burst of gunfire on the job last week, this shooting occurring in New Orleans.
According to a report from WVUE TV, a 22-year-old unidentified construction worker was working on a home on N. Salcedo Street in Mid-City on the afternoon of July 2 when he was shot multiple times.
He was rushed to the hospital but died there hours after the attack. Police are still searching for the suspect.
The attack occurred the same day as another shooting claimed the life of a worker in Baltimore and is the latest in a string of shootings on construction sites this year.
