Vacuworx has promoted Randy Hayes to vice president of business development and strategic accounts.

Hayes has led the Vacuworx North American sales team, encompassing the United States and Canada, for the last 8 years as corporate sales director. He has worked in the oil and gas pipeline and related markets for 38 years.
“Randy has been on the front line with our key customers for the last eight years,” says Vacuworx President Bill Solomon. “With so many opportunities for growth in both new and existing markets, we are excited to make this change to our sales structure and reward his hard work.”
Hays joined the Vacuworx team in 2010. Before that, he was with T.D. Williamson for more than 23 years in the services division, later managing the Polyethylene Fusion Equipment Division.
Founded in 1999 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Vacuworx engineers and manufactures innovative heavy-duty material handling equipment for the oil and gas, water and sewer, highway and heavy construction, concrete construction, landscaping and manufacturing industries worldwide.
As part of his commitment to the industry, Hayes is an active member of several organizations. He’s an associate member director for DCA (Distribution Contractors Association). He’s also involved with the Pipeline Contractors Association of Canada (PLCAC), American Pipeline Contractors Association (APCA), Concrete Sawing and Drilling Association (CSDA), Interstate Natural Gas Association of America (INGAA), National Association of Pipe Coating Applicators (NAPCA) and Associated Equipment Distributors (AED).
