Government meddling in the housing market was clearly one of the reasons the housing market turned into a bubble and then burst these last few months. This article posits that government’s newest infatuation, meddling in alternative energy schemes, will create a bubble that will eventually burst in those industries as well.
The moral of this story is that if you win the bid to build the ethanol plant, go for it, but don’t accept stock in the company as payment.
