Watch Excavator Operator Change OilQuick Attachments Without Leaving Cab

Me Photo Headshot

OilQuick showed off its automatic hydraulic attachment system for excavators at ConExpo 2026 by quickly changing work tools without the operator leaving the cab.

You can see some of the demo in the video above in which an operator connects and disconnects attachments with the system. The Cat excavator being used is owned by Stutsman Gerbaz Inc., an excavation contractor based in Aspen, Colorado, and Equipment World’s 2023 Contractor of the Year.

The company has been using the OilQuick system for five or so years to save on the amount of equipment it has to bring to a jobsite. Tools such as hydraulic hammers, buckets, plate compactors and concrete processors are switched in seconds, eliminating the need for additional equipment and personnel, according to company owner Shay Stutsman.

Along with quick attachment changes, OilQuick’s systems can run tiltrotators, which enable the operator to tilt and rotate attachments for increased efficiency and accuracy.

The company’s attachment system is for excavators ranging from 1 to 120 tons.
