Under a new agreement, Verizon Connect telematics data can now flow directly to HCSS Fleet.
Data such as equipment hours, mileage and maintenance schedules no longer require manual entry for keeping equipment records up to date and are centralized under one platform.
“For contractors managing mixed fleets, the integration also brings Verizon Connect-equipped vehicles into the same system as OEM-connected assets and equipment tracked through HCSS,” according to HCSS.
The Verizon Connect integration is now available to all HCSS Fleet customers. Contractors can complete setup through the “OEM Providers” section within HCSS Fleet | Telematics and link their Verizon Connect account.
