The SnowEx RDV and Western Enforcer V-plows are designed for half-ton trucks but keep many of the same features found on the brands’ heavy-duty plows.
Constructed of high-strength, low-alloy steel, the plows are stronger and lighter than conventional steel and adapt to various vehicle heights for such truck models as the GMC Sierra 1500, Chevrolet Silverado 1500, Ford F-150, Ram 1500, Nissan Titan and Toyota Tundra. Available with either powder-coated or stainless-steel blades, the plows are 7 feet 6 inches wide as a straight blade or 6 feet 9 inches wide in V mode. They are 27 inches high in the center and 33 inches high at the outer edge.
Operators can adjust the wings independently or lock them together for straight-blade operation and back-dragging. Trip edges protect the equipment and operators from unseen obstacles. Quick hookup is provided by the Automatixx power-assisted attachment system for the RDV plow and the UltraMount 2 system for the Western plow. Lighting options include LED or dual halogen Storm Keeper headlamps.
Accessories include a 10-inch rubber deflector, shoe assembly kit, AR400 steel curb-guard kit, cast-iron curb-guard kit, half-inch steel cutting edge, 1-inch poly cutting edge, blade-stop kit, back-drag edge, and the Scrape Maxx down-force kit. The plow blades are pre-punched for simplified installation of accessories.
Western and SnowEx are both brands of Douglas Dynamics.
