National Asphalt Pavement Association to hold compaction webinar

The National Asphalt Pavement Association (NAPA) will hold a “Best Practices in Compaction” webinar that is free to its members, state asphalt pavement association members and employees of departments of transportation and city and county public works agencies.

Erv Dukatz, vice president of materials and research for Mathy Construction is scheduled to speak during the session, scheduled for Jan. 21, 2-3:30 p.m. EST.

“Proper compaction techniques are critical to asphalt pavement performance and longevity,” NAPA says. “Compaction not only affects performance but often determines how much or if a contractor will get paid for the work.”
