IronPlanet recently surpassed $500 million in gross auction sales. During the first six months of this year, every auction garnered an average of $6 million in gross auction sales – a 70 percent increase for the average auction sale for the first half of 2005.
The quarter ended in June with a 15 percent return on revenue, making it the most profitable quarter in IronPlanet’s history.
