Loader attachment pulverizes asphalt up to 12 inches thick

Asphalt Zipper is introducing the AZ-480S, a milling/reclamation attachment for loaders. Powered by a 185-horsepower John Deere turbo-charged diesel, the AZ-480S is equipped with the new “Z-MAG” cutter head, designed to increase production 20 percent over previous models. The attachment also features hydraulic depth control and bullet-head, carbide-tipped cutting teeth. It has cutter widths of 18, 24, 30, 36 and 48 inches, and a cutter depth of approximately 12 inches. A remote control panel allows the loader operator to monitor and control the engine from the cab.
