Deere fields three new C-series compact excavators

If you’re looking for a digging machine to get you in and out of tight spots, Deere has introduced three new C-Series ZTS compact excavators. The upper structure of these zero-tailswing excavators rotates 360 degrees within the width of the tracks, allowing you to work alongside buildings and walls. Each comes with a standard quick coupler, auxiliary hydraulics, rubber tracks and a backfill blade. Controls can be switched between excavator or backhoe style. The smallest of the three, the 27C ZTS, weighs 6,482 pounds and digs to a depth of 13 feet, 11 inches. The mid-sized 35C ZTS weighs 7,760 pounds and digs to 14 feet, 8 inches. Their big brother, the 50C ZTS, weighs 10,252 pounds and digs to 18 feet, 6 inches. The Isuzu engines that power the three machines range from 32 to 41.5 horsepower.
