GM sticks with Daytona

Auto racing has been hard hit with the recession and woes in the American auto industry. So it was good news to hear that GM has decided to keep its sponsorship of the Daytona 500.  Also good and perhaps a sign that managerial sanity has returned to Detroit: GM has canceled rapper 50 Cents’ sponsored truck, a Pontiac branded El-Camino wannabe. Some icons you just can’t mess with.
