Iowa Mold Tooling kicked off this year’s International Construction and Utility Equipment Exposition in Louisville with upgrades to the company’s Tm crane line and an enhanced propane Dominator body.

The 9 tm, 10 tm, 11 tm and 12 tm mid-range articulating cranes have ratings ranging from 65,100 to 86,075 foot-pounds, with max lifting capacities from 8,360 to 10,230 pounds. New features on the product line include single link (SL) or dual link (options), 15-degree overbending and a reduction in weight by up to 15 percent when compared to the previous models.

John Field, product manager, material handling, says the changes are customer driven. “The lift and reach capabilities are tailored to their challenging applications,” Field says. “The new models increase productivity with lower weight that allows for more payload capacity.”

The single power plus link-arm system provides high lifting capacity with the boom fully extended; delivers strength and flexibility in the outer boom; features high speed in extreme positions at the mast; and provides suitability for loading and unloading jobs at low height away from the vehicle.

The dual power plus link-arm system delivers precise and regular movements; is useful for long reaches and lifting in high positions with demanding equipment; and offers superior lifting capacities under all conditions.
