Feeling lucky?

GreggBy Gregg Terry

St. Patrick’s Day rolls around this month and many people will have luck on their mind. According to Irish legend, there are three good luck traditions that are associated with St. Patrick’s Day:

1. Find a four-leaf clover

2. Wear green

3. Kiss the Blarney Stone.

Of the three, only No. 2 is really achievable unless you have time to inspect a few dozen clover patches or travel to Ireland’s Blarney Castle tower wall.

I’m not sure who said it, but luck was once defined as, “the harder you work, the luckier you get.” In celebration of a construction industry that’s working hard to turn itself around this year we’re going to reward one lucky contractor with Equipment World’s 2010 Contractors Dream Package. The sweepstakes kicked off last month with a display of most of this year’s prizes in our World of Concrete exhibit. Hundreds of entries were obtained during the show and thousands more will arrive through our website over the next seven months. We have a stellar lineup of sponsors who are donating more than $100,000 in products and services to one fortunate winner. Register now – plus get a good look at everything in this year’s package – by visiting www.contractorsdreampackage.com.
