Nesco Specialty Rentals, a leading equipment and service supplier to infrastructure, transmission, distribution, communications, and rail industries, has completed its acquisition of N&L Line Equipment.

N&L’s products are for live-line maintenance of electric utility lines. They will become part of Utility Equipment Outfitters, a division of Nesco Specialty Rentals.

The N&L offering includes transmission tools up to 800 kV, substation maintenance tools, as well as distribution hotline tools, Nesco says.

N&L has paired the manufacturing of tools to a testing laboratory and tool repair service.

They test and certify insulating rubber goods and insulated tools, as well as repair and refurbish all commonly used tools, hot sticks, and grounds, a press release says. N&L also offers calibration services for dynamometers, gas monitors, voltage detectors.

For customers needing new tools, N&L is one of the most recognized brands in the industry, along with offering a custom ground and jumper manufacturing service.

Nesco customers will also receive access to N&L’s state of the art tracking and reporting software, which allows their customers to see the status or history of any order, repair, or calibration in real-time, and communicate directly with the technician assigned to each individual item, the company says.

This software is accessible through any device with an internet connection.
