Volvo engineer risks his own head in testing truck’s ground clearance

Volvo FMX ground clearance adVolvo is really on a roll recently with its new series of viral ads for its FMX truck. Last week we showed you a pretty complex stunt in which a a hamster drives the FMX up a quarry to show off the truck’s steering. But this week have a very simple one meant to show off the truck’s high ground clearance. To show off how confident he is in the truck’s ground clearance, Volvo engineer Roland Svensson put his head on the line. The FMX’s ground clearance is just under 1 foot. Roland’s head is 10.8 inches tall, leaving him just about 1.2 inches of space…if all goes well. Watch below.
