Ford’s SVT Raptor has quickly turned into one of its more popular vehicles. The combination of its phenomenal styling and huge power have increased demand so much that Ford recently increased production of the off-road pickup by 67 percent.
However, the folks at Hennessey felt they could get a little more out of the pickup and its 6.2-liter V-8. After supercharging the truck it now pushes 600 horsepower, compared to the stock Raptor’s 411 hp, and 622 lb-ft of torque, compared to the stock 434 lb-ft. Hennessey offers even more power through a twin turbocharger package that produces a ridiculous 810 hp and 745 lb-ft of torque.
And to show you just how much more power they’re getting out of the truck, they put together a quick street race between the 600-hp VelociRaptor and the stock Raptor. It’s no contest.
